VoxLane was imagined as a practical Australian SaaS company for small businesses that rely on phone enquiries. The fictional founding team noticed a common pattern across clinics, agencies, trades and professional services: the phone was still the centre of new business, but the team answering it was stretched thin.
Instead of positioning AI as a magic replacement for staff, VoxLane is framed as a support layer. It answers when the team is unavailable, captures the reason for the call and sends a clear handover so the next human action is obvious.
